THE SECOND INFORMATION MESSAGE

In accordance with the Plan of meetings, conferences and symposiums approved by the Presidium of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences for 2024, the Yu.G. Shafer Institute for Cosmophysical Research and Aeronomy of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences – a separate division of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Federal Research Center Yakut Scientific Center“ of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICFIA SB RAS), holds from August 28 to 31, 2024. The All-Russian conference “Dynamic processes in the middle and upper atmosphere“ dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 75th anniversary of the Yakut Scientific Center SB RAS. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss the latest results of research conducted in the field of physics of the middle and upper atmosphere, solar–terrestrial relations, as well as plans for joint work. Scientists conducting research in the field of atmospheric physics, ionosphere, magnetosphere and related fields are invited to participate in the conference, with reports on the latest results and discussion of new research methods in the following areas:

1. Studies of magnetospheric–ionospheric connections and auroral phenomena;

2. Studies of dynamic processes in the upper and middle atmosphere;

3. Space weather and climate processes;

4. Remote sensing of atmospheric parameters;

5. Instruments and methods of experimental studies of the upper and middle atmosphere To participate in the conference before June 30, 2024, you must register on the conference website https://indico.ysn.ru/event/12 / fill out the registration form and send the abstracts in MS Word format according to the attached requirements. Abstracts will be published by the beginning of the conference. Abstracts should contain information in English and Russian:

1. The title of the report.

2. Surnames and initials of the authors.

3. Place of work and e-mail address of each author.

4. Keywords (up to 5 words). 5. Abstract (up to 200 words). The conference program will include plenary (30 minutes), invited (20 minutes), oral (15 minutes) and poster presentations. The 4th Summer School of Young Cosmophysicists will be held in parallel with the conference. Those who wish to share their knowledge and results with young scientists are given the opportunity to speak there. The registration fee for participation in the conference is 5000 rubles, the registration fee for the participation of graduate students and students is 2000 rubles.
