Applications for the Makariev Prize in Natural Sciences continue to be accepted PRIZES IN MEMORY OF METROPOLITAN OF MOSCOW AND KOLOMNA MAKARY (Bulgakov)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION OF SCIENTIFIC WORKS IN NATURAL SCIENCES 2022

Scientific works (monographs, reprints of articles) published in 2019-2022, as well as unpublished works in three categories are allowed to participate in the competition for the Makariev Prize in Natural Sciences:

Methods of natural and exact sciences in study of the history of the Church, Christian antiquities and the cultural heritage of Russia and the Slavic countries, innovative technologies that ensure the high quality of heritage preservation.

Scientific research in the field of natural and exact sciences of high social and civil importance.

Scientific research in the field of rational nature management, ecology and environmental protection.

Works submitted for competition must be in Russian, presented in 2 copies, bound, with personal data about the author or authors, no more than 3, (form on the website of the Makariev Foundation www.m-fond.ru) and a recommendation for the competition.

Acceptance of scientific papers for the competition is carried out on the recommendation. The following persons have the right to nominate works for awards: Scientists and Scientific Councils of RAS Institutes; academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences in their specialty; Academic councils of research and higher educational institutions; The Government of Moscow represented by the Prime Minister and his deputies, as well as heads of Departments and Committees; Educational Committee of the Moscow Patriarchate; CSC “Orthodox Encyclopedia”; ruling bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church and other Orthodox Churches.

The best works, according to the decision of the Prize Committee, will be awarded at the end of the competition with diplomas, medals and cash prizes of three degrees.

 Acceptance of works for the competition – until June 1, 2022.
