The Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Federal Research Center “Yakutsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences” announces a competition for the vacant position of a researcher at the Shafer Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Aeronomy,  Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences (SHICRA SB RAS),  the Laboratory of High-Energy Cosmic Rays – 0.2  full-time equivalent. Official salary: 21,540 rubles, housing is not provided.

The competition is open to persons who meet the qualifications required to fill the position of a researcher, who have relevant experience in experimental studies of the atmospheric electric field in good and disturbed weather conditions, as well as studies of the phenomena of generation of penetrating radiation in a thunderstorm atmosphere.

Qualification requirements:

– higher professional education;

– the degree of the Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, specialty 25.00.29 “Physics of the Atmosphere and Hydrosphere”;

— knowledge of atmospheric physics;

– experience in conducting scientific research in the field of atmospheric physics, atmospheric electricity, thunderstorm processes in the atmosphere, as well as research on the influence of meteorological effects in cosmic ray variations;

– experience in managing grants;

— published scientific papers: at least 5 in peer-reviewed scientific publications from the list of Web of Science, Scopus, RSCI for the last 5 years.
