The II Arctic Congress is held as part of the events of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation,
the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 75th anniversary
of the Yakut Sientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Congress is dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor,
Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences,
Honorary Citizen of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Nikita Gavrilovich Solomonov.

Preliminary program of the II Arctic Congress

The beginning of the session of our institute in direction 6 “Monitoring of the permafrost zone and predictive theoretical

models of soil temperature conditions; increase in thunderstorm and forest-pyrogenic activity at high latitudes in conditions

of Arctic intensification” will begin on September 20 at 14.10. The session will take place in the meeting room of the Academic Council.
