Dear SCOSTEP Colleagues,

This is a reminder that SCOSTEP is accepting nominations for the Distinguished Scientist and Young Scientist Awards for 2022.  

The Distinguished Scientist award is to recognize an outstanding contribution of a scientist to solar-terrestrial physics.

The Distinguished Young Scientist award recognizes a young scientist who has achieved considerable success in solar-terrestrial physics and has taken an active part in SCOSTEP-related activities.  To be qualified, the candidate should have been awarded their Ph.D. within 5 years of the nomination.

Attached is the Call for Nominations and the Awards Procedures.  The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2022.
