Scientific Session dedicated to the 60th anniversary of SHICRA SB RAS and the 100th anniversary of Afanasy Afanasyevich Danilov, an organizer of geomagnetic research at the Institute.

On October 20-21, 2022, in accordance with the Plan of Events for 2022, the Federal Research Center “Yakutsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences” (YSC SB RAS), Shafer Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Aeronomy (SHICRA), a separate subdivision of the YSC SB RAS, is holding the Scientific Session dedicated to the 60th anniversary of SHICRA SB RAS and the 100th anniversary of Afanasy Afanasyevich Danilov, the organizer of geomagnetic research at the Institute.
The scientific session will be held in the Conference Hall of the Institute. Venue: Yakutsk, Lenin Avenue, 31.
The Program of the Scientific Session includes the following areas:
– cosmic rays of ultrahigh energies,
– cosmic rays in the heliosphere,
— problems of solar-terrestrial relations,
– automation of scientific research.
A special section dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Afanasy Afanasyevich Danilov, the organizer of geomagnetic research at the Institute, with a chess tournament in memory of A.A. Danilov will be conducted at the Sakha Republic Chess and Checkers Center on October 23, 2022. Venue: Yakutsk, Yaroslavsky St., No.19/2.
