The Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science “The Federal Research Center “Yakutsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences” announces a competition for the vacant position of a senior researcher at the Shafer Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Aeronomy, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, at the Laboratory of Atmospheric Optics – part-time work (0.8). Official salary: 25,076 rubles, housing is not provided.

Persons who meet the qualification requirements for filling the position of a senior researcher (in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation No. 37 of August 21, 1998) and who have relevant experience in study of atmospheric optics can take part in the competition.

Qualification requirements:

– higher professional education;

— a degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences;

— knowledge of atmospheric physics;

– experience in conducting scientific research in the field of atmospheric and climate physics, i.e. study of mechanisms of impacts wave processes in the mesopause region on its thermodynamic regime, and research into effects of anthropogenic and natural factors on climate trends;

– experience in managing grants;

— published scientific papers: at least 7 in peer-reviewed scientific publications from the list of Web of Science and Scopus over the past 5 years.
