Programs and projects in the programs of fundamental research of the Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences for 2017–2020.

Priority area II.16. Modern problems of astronomy, astrophysics and space research, including the origin, structure and evolution of the Universe, the nature of dark matter and dark energy,  study of the Moon and planets, the Sun and solar-terrestrial connections,  study of exoplanets and search for extraterrestrial civilizations,  development of methods and equipment of extra-atmospheric astronomy and space research, coordinate-time support of fundamental research and practical problems.

Program II.16.1. Fundamental problems of space weather processes, including processes on the Sun, the interplanetary medium, the magnetosphere and the Earth’s atmosphere. Control and ecology of near-Earth space (coordinator – G.A. Zherebtsov, Academician of RAS)

Project: “II.16.2.2. The origin of cosmic rays in various astrophysical objects and the dynamics of their distribution in the interplanetary space ”. Supervisor-S.I. Petukhov.

Project: “II.16.2.3. Experimental study of cosmic rays in the energy range of the supposed transition from the galactic component to the extragalactic one ”. Supervisor-M.I. Pravdin.
