Research projects -2021

Currently, the Institute is engaged in fundamental scientific research in the following areas:

  • cosmic ray astrophysics;
  • solar-terrestrial physics.

Research is carried out according to the Long-term Program of Basic Scientific Research in the Russian Federation (2021 – 2030)

“Investigation of cosmic ray properties  in the energy range 10 ^ {15} – 10 ^ {19} eV according to data of long-term observations at the Yakutsk complex EAS facility” (Supervisor – A.A.  Ivanov)

“Acceleration of solar cosmic rays in the atmosphere of the Sun and effect of large-scale structures of the solar wind on the space-time distribution of cosmic rays in the heliosphere” (Supervisor -S. Petukhov)

“Investigation of magnetospheric-ionospheric disturbances according to data of the Yakutsk meridional chain of stations at the beginning of the 25th cycle of solar activity” (Supervisor- D.G. Baishev)

“Investigation of relationship between the thermodynamic state of the high-latitude upper and middle atmosphere with parameters of solar activity according to data of optical measurements and remote sensing” (Supervisor – S.V. Nikolashkin)
